What I enjoy most about working here at Snyder Chevrolet Buick GMC are the Customers that come in to purchase a new vehicle. The looks of surprise when we show them all the technology the vehicles have and how easy it is to operate. Also, I love that every person coming in to buy has a different way of wanting to complete the purchase.  We get to take them by the hand and walk them through the whole process.

I have worked in the automotive industry for 39 years. I started at a different dealer before I

Started at Snyder's. My brother led me to apply at Snyder's when he was working here at the time.

My favorite car to drive is a Silverado because of the size and height it has a better view of the road, and makes me feel safer.

My favorite model in GM line up is the Blazer . Size is not too big, not too small . It does everything you need it to do. I love the look and the price.

If I  gave one piece of advice to someone buying for the first time it would be test drive at least

on the highway to feel the acceleration.  Don't overspend your budget, and stay with a payment comfortable for you.  I would also suggest buying the extended warranty to cover the term of the loan or the number of years you think you will drive it .

In my free time I enjoy camping, painting, and playing cards.

What sets us apart from other dealers is that Snyder's is a family run business.  Not only are they good to their customers, they are also great to their employees!  I have been here for 37 years.

The most rewarding part of helping a customer find their vehicle is when they come back.  This often leads to their family members and friends that come to me looking for help.  Referrals are awesome and you know you did something right when you get referrals.

  1. What do you enjoy most about working here at Snyder Chevrolet / Snyder Buick GMC?

The people you meet!  I've met Scientists, Teachers, Police Officers, Pilots and many other interesting folks.  Always enjoy running into the men and women that build and design these vehicles as well.

  1. How long have you been in the automotive industry, and what led you to this career?

About seven and a half years now, Adam Fausey recruited me.  So much of this business is getting to know people through others, my employment here began the same way.

  1. What is your favorite car to drive, and why?

Tahoe, something about being the bigger, nicer vehicle on the road, makes you feel safe and comfortable.

  1. Do you have a personal favorite model from our current lineup? What do you like about it?

Traverse because of the super cruise feature, I've never wanted a feature in my own driveway so badly.

  1. What's one piece of advice you would give to someone buying a car for the first time?

Remember that we're here for the customer, no reason to stress or be anxious.  We're here to get you in the right vehicle for you.

  1. What do you like to do in your free time when you're not helping customers find the right vehicle?

Be anywhere in or around water, whether that's the muddy Maumee, the lake up North or a beach vacation.

  1. Can you share a memorable experience you've had with a customer here?

My first new vehicle sale was to one of my closest friends over 7 years ago.  Knowing where we both began and where we are now, with him getting into a brand new ZR2 has been fun.  It takes a lot of time and hard work to get the things you want and it's been a pleasure watching dream vehicles come to fruition.

  1. What's one thing you think sets our dealership apart from others?

In Napoleon, everyone knows one another, here, car deals aren't about inventory, they're about trust.  Knowing that you're being treated fairly by a friend, neighbor and fellow member of the community is what sets up apart.  And that doesn't end as you drive away, you'll be hearing from us to make sure everything's going well.

  1. What's the most rewarding part of helping customers find the right car?

Finding the right vehicle is always rewarding, but someone lighting up about a feature they were previously unaware of is the best.  Knowing you're showing someone a feature that's going to make their commute to work or vacation more comfortable and convenient is rewarding.

  1. Do you have any tips for customers in the market to purchase a new vehicle?

Don't let misleading advertisements get you into the door at the wrong dealership.  If something looks too good to be true, it probably is.  You can always expect quality vehicles and a straight-forward approach at Snyder's.

  • What do you enjoy most about working here at Snyder Chevrolet / Snyder Buick GMC?

I genuinely enjoy working in and providing the cliche "small town" experience.

  • How long have you been in the automotive industry, and what led you to this career?

I've been in the industry for about 6 years now, beforehand I was a S.T.N.A. and then a bartender so in one way or another I've been "Serving" people for most of my adult life.

  • Do you have a personal favorite model from our current lineup? What do you like about it?

Hands down the Suburban/Yukon XL are my longtime favorite. There's just nothing that comes close to the drive experience, comfort, or versatility of these vehicles.

  • What's one piece of advice you would give to someone buying a car for the first time?

There are so many factors and questions that can pop up if you're a first-time buyer, that being said the best piece of advice I could give is to just come hang out with me for a bit and chat. Buying your first car is a big decision and can take some time. Starting by just simply talking with someone who has been in, touched, drove, and experienced the ins and outs of multiple vehicles can drastically help make sure your specific needs are met.

  • What do you like to do in your free time when you're not helping customers find the right vehicle?

There's definitely no shortage of hobbies to keep me busy, golf and dart leagues keep me occupied most of the year and in the in-between I enjoy playing music, cooking, or games of almost any kind.

  • Can you share a memorable experience you've had with a customer here?

There's so many to choose from, I will say my favorite experiences are when I get to be a part of a surprise for someone else and then get to see the pictures and hear the reveal story.

  • What's one thing you think sets our dealership apart from others?

I truly believe we care about our customers more than their cars. We dedicate a lot of time honing our skills and mindset to ensure we can provide the best experience for anyone we talk to.

  • What's the most rewarding part of helping customers find the right car?

There's almost no better feeling than when you talk to someone and discover an issue their current car isn't solving and pair them with the perfect vehicle. The phone calls and conversations after when there's one less thing they have to worry about is so rewarding and really makes you feel like you've helped and made a positive difference in their life.

  • Do you have any tips for customers in the market to purchase a new vehicle?

Don't think you're wasting our time, come in and drive some different vehicles, talk to us about what you'd like to accomplish with your new car. We do this daily and love to help, use our knowledge to make your decision the right one.

What do you enjoy most about working here at Snyder Chevrolet / Snyder Buick GMC?

I enjoy the sense of community I get to be a part of.  The entire staff, and the loyal customers I have developed over 10 years of working at Snyder's have truly become like a second family.

How long have you been in the automotive industry, and what led you to this career?

I have been at Snyder's for 10 years.  I have always been a people person with a knack for customer service and a love for automobile's.  Working at Snyder's is truly the perfect fit for those things.

What is your favorite car to drive, and why?

The Chevrolet Corvette C8.  My time at Snyder Chevrolet has allowed me multiple opportunities to train in these race cars on closed tracks and truly appreciate the power and attention to detail on these fine automobiles.

Do you have a personal favorite model from our current lineup? What do you like about it?

My favorite Current Model is the Chevrolet Trax.  Since the redesign I believe it is clear that this is the most sporty and affordable crossover on the market.  With loads of standard options these things are hard to keep on the lot!

What's one piece of advice you would give to someone buying a car for the first time?

When buying a car for the first time, take your time.  Find a sales associate you trust and take the time to ask lots of questions and you will surely find the perfect ride that fits nicely into your budget.

What do you like to do in your free time when you're not helping customers find the right vehicle?

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife Carlie on our boat, golfing, and cheering on my favorite football team.  (Go Browns!)

Can you share a memorable experience you've had with a customer here?

Picking one memorable experience with a customer is difficult.  I do have multiple examples of folks that have started as customers and turned into life long friends that spend time together outside of the office.

What's one thing you think sets our dealership apart from others?

Snyder Chevrolet is different from most dealerships because of our strict policy on honesty and integrity.  This family owned dealership (for nearly 100 years)  believes in supporting our small community and it's residents.

What's the most rewarding part of helping customers find the right car?

The most rewarding part of the sales process is having a customer walk out the door with a vehicle that fits their needs, wants and budget.  When you take your time with a customer and find them the perfect fit they leave satisfied and proud of their purchase.

Do you have any tips for customers in the market to purchase a new vehicle?

Come see me and I assure you that I will treat you with the respect you deserve and find you exactly what  you are looking for.

My favorite thing about working at Snyders, is that everyday brings in a new face and a new set of obstacles to overcome.

I have been selling cars for two years now. Beforehand I was in the service center at another dealership, and the salesman there talked me into a selling  cars instead.

My favorite car to drive is the corvette! how could it not be! That is the Peak of GM Performance, and as a car enthusiast, it's my goal to have one in my driveway someday.

My favorite vehicle in our line up would have to be a Silverado 1500 with a 3.0 Duramax , I mean who doesn't like a good pickup, Especially when it can get over 25 MPG

My advice to anyone looking for a car would be to take the time and go over all your options, and just remember that a car/ truck is not one size fits all, take the time and make sure your next car is the one that's right for YOU, that is what I am here to help you with!

Free time? That doesn't usually happen now that I'm a father, but when I'm not running around the car lot, I'm on my Harley or throwing a fishing line into the maumee river somewhere

One thing that is different about us here at Snyders is that we truly here to provide the "small town dealership" experience. We can advertise all we like but what we really want is to give people such a good experience that they can't wait to tell everyone how fun and easy buying a car can be!

I think the most rewarding part is just being able to meet so many people from all sort of different places and backgrounds, it really reminds you of how big the world really is

My tip to anyone looking for their next vehicle would be to stop overthinking it and take that next step, whether that is asking questions or coming up for a test drive!  We are here to help!
